CEO, Dr Parviz, presented at Surgical Robotics & Innovation Summit- Sydney, Australia

Dr. Maryam Parviz's was an invited speaker at the Surgical Robotics & Innovation Summit (SRIS) 2022.Her presentation on the challenges of introducing cutting-edge bone implants into clinical practices, titled "Road to JAZBI™ was a valuable addition to the event. The program is convened by The Institute of Academic Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA).

SRIS is an annual a two-day program will include semi-live surgeries, plenary sessions, and several surgical specialty programs. The specialty programs include urology, colorectal, upper GI, cardiac, thoracic, head and neck, ENT, orthopaedics, benign gynaecology and gynae-oncology, and nursing.

The Hon Angus Taylor MP, Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction, announced that SDIP Innovations Pty. Ltd. was awarded a $1 M Accelerating Commercialisation Grant under the Entrepreneurs’ Programme (AC). Accelerating commercialisation grant is a one-on-one matching fund; in a recent round led by Sand Hill Angels, several world-class individual angel investors backed SDIP. Sand Hill Angels is one of the most experienced angel groups in Silicon Valley. Among SDIP`s investors are surgeons, serial entrepreneurs, and med-tech executives.

26 Oct 2020- SDIP Innovations has been awarded over $2.7M from the NSW Health Fund for the JAZBI™ bioresorbable platform technology. A total of $5 M was awarded to two companies for the 2020 round of the Medical Devices Fund. Since the first round in 2013, recipients of the NSW Medical Devices Fund have been awarded more than $60 million for 36 technologies.
